The Burj Khalifa is the world’s tallest structure, and one of the most iconic, complex, and symbolic buildings in the world. and is a mixed-use skyscraper located in Dubai in the UAE.
Construction started in 2004 and the project was completed in 2009.
Our roles on the project included acting as the Architect of Record and Lead Consultant representing the project developer and long-term client, Emaar,
This building remains the tallest structure in the world, and its construction presented a number of unprecedented engineering challenges.
We were part of the consultant’s team providing technical supervision and quality control of the Architecture, Structure, MEP and Facade. We also assisted the Contract Administrator with technical support to assess the veracity of claims for additional time and cost received from the contractors. This ultimately led to the successful completion of the project and its inauguration to the world in 2010.
